before you start this video, let me just say a few things. i know this is a corny video to put up here, but i’ve been watching it like 3 times a day or more for the past week, and i can’t get over it. carrie schwiger and i watched the series finale of friends together, and it was the single most emotional experience i have ever had with television or cinema. it wasn’t just because of the episode itself, which i personally thought did the series just and was nothing short of awesome (going back and watching it again, i find it hard to recapture the moment). it was the 1 hour special before the last episode, which was simply a huge montage of clips from past episodes, along with clips of cast interviews. this special reminded me how amazing this series was. anyone who followed it from the beginning would most likely agree with me.

anyways, i’m posting this clip for two reasons. first, it is my absolute favorite part of the last episode, even though it’s actually part of the pre-finale montage special (or whatever you want to call it). second, i have all 10 seasons of the series, and the montage is not on the last season box set. however, awhile back, they released a single dvd of the series finale. i never bought it, but i would imagine that it’s loaded with special features, considering it’s only one episode on the dvd.

i say all this to make two requests. would somebody please get me this dvd for christmas? it’s like 10 bucks, limited edition (i just checked, and it is loaded with special features), and it would make my day. the second request is that you do not watch this clip until you have seen the whole montage special, because it just doesn’t have the same effect if you watch it by itself. but if you have seen the montage special, watch away, be nostalgic, and revel in the greatness that is friends.
