groom and doom

i hate shaving. not as much as i used to, mind you, but i still hate it. not to say that i love having facial hair, but shaving takes time, costs money, and there is at least a mild risk of discomfort, pain, and even bleeding! :o in my mind, these cons more than outway the pros of shaving. i only shave every other day. i’m really feeling for the the hairier guys that are shaving every day…or maybe 3 times a day, who knows?

this morning, i was thinking about how i only shave during the week, to keep up my appearance for work, and almost never on weekends. i know in college, i shaved even less than once every other day, because nothing was important enough in my mind to shave any more often. maybe i should have spent less concern with facial hair and more on studies? …or girls? nonetheless, i’ve been trying to come up with more motivation for shaving, because some days, work might just not be enough reason. i have actually come up with one reason. it’s only mildly irrational.

if i stop shaving my face, maybe girls will stop shaving their legs! ok, i know that’s not true, but i figure i should probably keep shaving if they do. and i KNOW it’s more frustrating (and most often more painful) for them. besides, i’m sure there are plenty of girls out there that actually have hairier legs than me, and i don’t want that knowledge. i can barely wrap my mind around the concept, i would prefer not to actually see it. i’m sure those girls feel the same way, so, to show my appreciation for all the hard work girls go through, i will continue to shave my face.

thank you, girls. time to shave.

My recommendation- get a Braun electric razor. I got one for Jared for Christmas/birthday present and he loves it. No blood…and he’s smooth! Hehe. It’s costly to get it…but worth it. As Jared just said, “It’s expensive to get it but totally worth it.” Hope you have a good day tomorrow!

    we also shave our underarms.

honestly, though, i don’t think it’s a moral failing to shave as infrequently as you do. scruff is pretty handsome, as long as it’s allowed at work. don’t feel guilty that girls have to shave, because a perk of having to shave is that we get to complain about it constantly. see? it’s fair.

i like it when you post.
