burst my bubble

By tylormccrain

I found out yesterday evening that I will not be able to buy my dream car next year like I had hoped all this time. I was planning on waiting until next year, because my job will give me a monthly car allowance for outside sales, which I would put towards payment on this car that would otherwise be out of my price range. As I said, I can no longer get this car, because I will need at least a 4-seater for outside sales, so I can entertain customers. And quite frankly, I don’t feel right about using job money for a car that is not suited for the job. Now I have to find another car, which could take me forever. All I know is, my personal preferences and my job preferences are inversely proportional. For example, I want this S2000. It is not a good car for my job. I do not want a pickup (for a variety of reasons). It is the perfect car for the job. In any case, I don’t know what to do. It wouldn’t take most people a year or more to find a car for this situation. But I’m not most people.

Don’t go out and rush to buy something. Take your time and decide what YOU want or you will not be happy and you will be making car payments on something you don’t even like.
